During this time, the Power Repair Guys have also been repairing and refurbishing DC-DC switching power supplies. The Power Repair Guys are now replacing older AC-DC products designed and manufactured by most power supply manufacturers. The Power Repair Guys are now also replacing older DC-DC products designed and manufactured by most power supply manufacturers. In addition, the “Power Repair Guys” have older as well as newer technology switching power supplies designed and manufactured by Pioneer Magnetics, which can be used to replace competitor’s power supplies that can no longer be repaired or refurbished.

The Power Repair Guys are also able to replace older 5” X 8” switching power supplies with 5” X 8” products designed and manufactured by Pioneer Magnetics. We also have newer technology products (2U and 3U) that can be used as an alternative to the 5” X 8” configuration. PMI maintains a full warehouse of older technology material ensuring that the more mature products are repaired with the authorized/approved parts.
In the event that logistics are such that it is too expensive to return a PMI product to the Los Angeles area facility, for repair and refurbishment of 5” X 8” or 1U, 2U or 3U products, as an alternative, we offer authorized power supply repair and switch mode refurbishment service centers in the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, India and Mexico.
Quality assurance for power supply repair and power supply replacement of AC-DC and DC-DC switching power supplies is PMI’s highest priority. Our rectifier repair and converter refurbishment system is modeled after ISO, BABT, TQM and “LEAN” process controls.

Hot Swap Power Supplies are repaired, refurbished and replaced by PMI in 1U, 2U or 3U racks or power shelf configurations. Rack Mounted Power Supplies in 1U, 2U or 3U configurations - standard or custom are also repaired, refurbished as well as replaced. The repairing, refurbishment and replacement of Redundant Power Supplies is a great customer service for those customers that need N+1 configurations.
The repair, refurbishment as well as replacement of Inverter Power Supplies is a special and unique feature in PMI's product line with power ranging from 1000 Watts to 8,000 Watts.
Hot Plug Power Supplies are available and repaired as well as refurbished and replaced for PMI customers. Liquid Cooled Power Supplies are available and repaired as well as refurbished and replaced in power ranges up to 30,000 watts. PMI repairs, refurbishment as well as replacement of its large product line of Isolated and non-isolated Power Supplies range from 1000 watts to 10,000 watts per box. Programmable Power Supplies are available and repaired as well as refurbished and replaced for PMI customers having unique requirements.
